Srila Acaryadeva will be giving Srimad Bhagavatam class in New Dvaraka at about 7:35 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on Thursday, January 16th. The class can be heard live by internet.
WEBCAST: Go to www.shoutcast.com type "Krishna" in the search box then click on "Go!" You'll normally get at least two streams, one from the BBT and the other from "Hare Krishna Temple in Los Angeles." Click on the "Tune In!" button next to the latter and you should immediately hear audio. You'll need to have RealPlayer or WinAmp installed in order to hear the stream.
Hoping this finds you all blissful in your service to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga!

Does anyone know when and where Srila Acaryadeva will give lectures in the future? It was a great oppurtunity to listen to his lecture online today, but I was hoping to someday listen to him directly. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

This is to remind you that Srila Acharyadeva is again giving class at the LA Temple on Thursday that will be broadcasted on the Internet live. Same time and channel as last week.
Also, don’t worry if you have problems listening to the lecture live as the Narendra Prabhu and his team have kindly arranged to later put those same lectures for easy download on their website.
Plus, I’m personally video taping these lectures and will offer them through HMM at same future date!

It so happens that I have a picture of him in my computer, a very nice
one that I will happily forward to you. I also have a well-known photo of
Srila Prabhupada that I attached as well.
I was in Australia some years ago as a tourist with my wife. We loved
Sydney; it was so great to be in a major city that was clean.......people
could actually swim in the harbor with the sharks. I lived in New York
for several years and was doubly impressed by Sydney.

My name is Mangala Artika Dasa I am a Srila Acharyadeva disciple I
served in the New Orleans and at the New Talavan Farm for about 15
years doing construction and maitenance and I had a construction
buisness that worked for many devotees and buisnesses in the area now
I'm a electrical contractor in Washington state about halfway between
Portland and Seattle.
I understand your reasoning for not wanting to get attachements but I
realy liked getting the pictures that were sent, I have been away
from the devotees for about six years now, and just found this group,
it has been realy enlivening to here the stories and see the pictures
of Sril Acharyadev, as for the viruses, keep your virus scanner
updated at all times.
If anyone knows the phone number of Srila Acharyadeva I would be
enternaly grateful if It could be sent to me.

Este es un consejo de SA para aquellos que están luchando en la guerra
contra Maya:
Es un hecho que Maya es también un amiga porque ella nos empuja hacia Krsna. Prabhupada dijo una vez, que no podemos purificarnos nosotros mismos, solamente Krsna puede purificarnos. Cuando Maya se vuelve fuerte, en realidad es un arreglo del Señor Krsna para torcer nuestro orgullo y forzárnos a tomar humildemente refugio de El. Entonces, como Draupadi, si levantamos nuestras manos abandonando todo falso sentido de nuestro propio poder, y simplemente tomando refugio bajo los Pies de Loto del Señor Krsna y de los pies de loto de Srila Prabhupada, entonces estoy seguro que seremos victoriosos.

Thanks to Narendra Prabhu and his team, the HDG Istagosthi now has a new forum service. We were getting some complaints with regards to the YahooGroups system. Plus, we can now post free of ads!
The change is taking place automatically and you need not do anything. Just please note the new way to post messages to the group:
1) Go to http://www.istagosthi.com and select "H.H. Hridayananda dasa Gosvami Istagosthi"
2) Select the actual thread (topic) where the post will best fit or open a new thread (with the link in the last band).
3) Write the message in the BIG text area at the end of the page, with your username and password.
3a) If you want to upload an image, press the attach button and follow the instructions.
4) Press "Preview/Post Message", chek it and re-edit or press "Post Message"
To answer a post simply respond the e-mail received, taking care to place the answer between the two --\/--\/--\/--\/--\/-- lines as is explained in the same e-mails or follow the same steps to post a message but continuing the same thread.
OR
Just send your message to hdg@istagosthi.com !
I ask that volunteers translate this message to Portuguese and Spanish.
