I was born in the darkest ignorance, and my spiritual master opened my eyes with he torch of knowledge. I offer my respectful obeisances to him.

While stumbling around in the darkness of the material world, we came to be guided by the light of our spiritual master, by his mercy. All of our spiritual and material successes are dependant on you. If we are able to do anything, it is by your mercy, without which we would be nothing. Just as a beacon of light, you are always shining, showing us the way. We pray to always be in the glow of that light, following your direction.
