One of our Alachua Devotee community members, Hladini Shakti, is in the running for Eighth Judicial Circuit (Court) of Florida . The election will take place on September 5th so if you are not registered to vote please do so ASAP. (Just so you know, jury duty is no longer pulled from voting registration roles but instead from driver’s license lists.)
She is looking for volunteers to help her campaign. Many have already helped with the petition to get her on the ballot so please come forward to volunteer. Within 10 days volunteers were able to collect 2,900 signatures. She has candidate cards ready, and yard signs as well as bumper stickers.
