Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
On Saturday the 26th of November and Saturday, the 3rd of December 2005 at 19h10, Channel 4 television will broadcast the reality documentary "Preachers to be".
It shows how ISKCON (representing Hinduism in the UK), the Christians and Muslims train their preachers to be.
Pre-broadcast publicity has been excellent. Most newspapars rated the program with 4 stars and it received the "Critic's Choice" for the week.
Filmed over two years, this two-part series follows the remarkable journeys of preachers-to-be in three of the UK's largest religions.
The series follows their footsteps from the moment they commit to their vocation, through their struggles to find a personal spiritual pathway - as they learn to translate their conviction into a permanent role - to the moment they step out into the world as leaders of their faiths with hopes to change the world around them.
The series was produced, directed and filmed by Ken Kirby of Cicada Films with the support from the previous ISKCON National Communications Department.
