Dear Vaishnavas and Vaishnavis,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories to his sincere followers.
By the grace of Srila Prabhupada and the efforts of his sincere followers, the number of practicing devotees in ISKCON is increasing all over the world.
Most of such devotees do desire to get married, and, it is essential
that they be married to other practicing devotees. However, at often times, devotees end up marrying nondevotees, forgetting the following
instruction of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the Supreme Personality of Godhead:
asat-sanga-tyaga - ei vaishnava-achara
A Vaishnava should always avoid the association of the nondevotees.
And because of the influence of nondevotee association, such marriages generally do not help the devotees increase their Krishna consciousness.
Therefore HH Jayapataka Maharaja and several other leaders of ISKCON
have expressed their desire that devotees be practically helped via
matrimonial arrangements to find an appropriate Krishna conscious spouse.
In an attempt to help fulfill their desire, I am starting a fortnightly matrimonial e-mail newsletter which will publish matrimonial information of ISKCON devotees in a way similar to how newspapers publish such matrimonial information.
Subscription is by e-mail only and is free.
Subscribers can provide matrimonial information (often referred to as an "ad") of not more than 75 words.
Subscribers shall be provided with and referred to by a subscription number.
To maintain the sanctity of this endeavor, they will also be provided a free web-based e-mail ID. The subscription number and e-mail ID shall appear in the newsletter. Subscribers should use this e-mail ID to check if anyone is interested for matrimonial purposes. If any subscriber's e-mail ID receives unsolicited or displeasing e-mail, he/she will be provided a new e-mail ID.
Matrimonial information should be sent to me. Subscribers who want to unsubscribe for any reason should also write to me.
This subscription is only for those who have taken up the process of Krishna consciousness as taught by Srila Prabhupada and are connected to, or members of, ISKCON, and who have provided their matrimonial information in the newsletter.
When more people subscribe to this newsletter, the chances of finding suitable matches will increase. It is therefore desired that information regarding this newsletter be widely broadcast amongst ISKCON devotees.
I reserve the right to edit the matrimonial information provided to me, and the right to unsubscribe the e-mail newsletter to any subscribers
without prior notice.
